First Meet

Our story began at an acquaintance party at MSU-IIT in 2014. Although I was new to such events, I attended since I had already paid. Ryan, an Electronic Engineering Tech student, and I, from the Information Systems department, met for the first time at the MSU-IIT gym. That day, August 2, was not only our first meeting but also the anniversary of Ryan’s late mother’s passing. We instantly felt a special connection that has grown ever since. -PIDC

What seemed to be a normal vacation with the DFEC family turned into a magical night when Ryan asked his first question toward forever. It was all fun and games until Ryan knelt, gave his speech, and asked Ira to marry him!
